Elenah Kelly

Elenah Godbolt Kelly is a wife, a mother, a minister, a motivator, a trainer, and a great leader among us!  Her name in Greek means "shining light" or "light from God."  Elenah is a native of Fayetteville, North Carolina and a graduate of Seventy-First High School.   She attended East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and was commissioned into the United States Air Force as a Second Lieutenant in 2000.  She earned a Master of Art in Business Management from Webster University in 2005 and served on active duty until 2007.  In 2012, she joined the Air Force Reserve and she currently serves as the Deputy Commander of the 916th Mission Support Group located at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina.  Prior to this assignment, she served as the Commander of the 512th Memorial Affairs Squadron located at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware.  She has been happily married to Dr. Sonny Kelly since 2003 and is the devoted mother of two amazing sons, Sterling and Langston.

Elenah is currently the Prevention Analyst for Pope Army Airfield, North Carolina where she works directly with commanders and staff agencies to implement violence prevention strategies for Domestic Violence, Sexual Violence, Suicide Prevention and Child Abuse Prevention to over 2,600 personnel from four Major Air Force Commands and 20 associated tenant units.  She is a Level III Department of Defense Certified Victim Advocate and a Master Resilience Trainer.  She is a member of the Gamma Upsilon Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated and serves on the Domestic Violence Committee.  Everyday, she rises up seeking to bear her light - committed to making a positive difference in the lives of individuals and families in her community, her country and the world.
